Welcome to Dianna’s Writing Desk
I’ve been writing since I was eight years old, reading since I was two and a half, and published since 1997 (with poetry) and 1999 (with fiction). My mind swims in imagination and bursts with ideas, and sometimes that’s as painful as it sounds, so my aim with this Substack is to have a more structured outlet for it all.
My favourite authors, since childhood, stirred a passion in me for dark fantasy, horror, anything paranormal, and sizzling hot romance as well as poetry, philosophical wonderings, and the need for emotional transformation through words. I write feelings in all their guises — raw and explicit (and in British English) — so my books are intended for adults. See them all at diannahardy.com
I also paint and sketch with watercolour and ink for relaxation and inner peace. I post those on here, too.
